All you need to do is encourage  customers who previously bought your product to drop a review on the product they purchased.

If they don't have much to say, they should at least rate your product on a scale of 1 to 5.

Depending on the platform on which your shop is built, there are different ways to enable ratings and reviews on Ecommerce stores. But let's talk about woocommerce.

Reviews and ratings are built in functions of woocommerce. No additional plugin is required, but you need to turn it on to start collecting reviews.

To enable review on woocomerce do this:

  • On the admin dashboard, Click "Woocomerce" > "settings" > "Products" > "General".
  • Scroll Down till you see "Reviews Settings" and then turn it ON or OFF

4. Optimize for mobile 


You should not even give it a second thought! Mobile traffic is beating desktop traffic on a triple scale. 

As of 2017, 82% of the United States shoppers did their shopping using mobile 📱 devices. And 32% of them are mobile only shoppers. 

Again, in 2018, Google announced the mobile-first indexing which means, pages that are not mobile friendly may suffer in search index. 

If your page is mobile friendly, customers will be able to shop from anywhere they are. 

More preferably, develop a mobile app for your Ecommerce shop. 

5. Use clear call-to-action


Don't keep customers confused! If you want them to buy, state it clearly.

 Call-To-Actions tells customers what to do next. One of the reasons why customer don't buy your product is simply because they don't know how to place oder!
